Accepted Students Day
Admissions invites accepted undergraduate students to our in-person Accepted Students Day (ASD) on Saturday, April 11, 2026! Accepted students will receive an invitation to register for the event in their acceptance email.

Event Details
ASD takes place across SVA's urban campus. Please see itineraries by location below.
- Meet the chair for your major, faculty, and current SVA students
- Tour our state-of-the-art studios, classrooms, and libraries
- Participate in art making demos and workshops
- See the Student Center and Residence Halls with tours led by resident assistants
- Enjoy student work at gallery exhibitions across campus
- Have brunch with students in the Club Fair
- Make an appointment with Financial Aid, Academic Advisement, Disability Resources, and Student Health and Counseling

Pre-Event Financial Aid Webinar
Register for a webinar cohosted by Financial Aid and Admissions on Wednesday, April 8 at 12:00pm ET to learn about the FAFSA, federal financial aid, grants, and the awarding process at the School of Visual Arts. Ask our staff questions during the Q&A. The webinar will be recorded.

Directions and Parking
Check in at Pier Sixty, 60 Chelsea Piers New York, NY 10011 for the following majors: Advertising; Comics; Design; Film; Fine Arts; Illustration; and Photography and Video.
SVA is an urban campus with buildings on both the west and east sides of Manhattan. Metered street parking can be difficult to find on Saturdays in the city. We recommend considering a parking garage for the day, and apps like SpotHero, ParkNYC, and ParkMobile can help you book parking in advance or feed the meter.

Accepted students can check if they were awarded a scholarship through the application portal. Please contact your Admissions Counselor for merit scholarship inquiries.
