BFA Visual & Critical Studies presents “Disclosed Studios: Part One,” the first of two consecutive exhibitions of work by select fourth-year students, curated by faculty member Suzanne Joelson. Part One will be on view from Thursday, March 25 – Thursday, April 15, at the Flatiron Project Space, 133/141 West 21st Street, which is viewable from the sidewalk.

In the spring, the Flatiron Project Space usually hosts an exhibit of select BFA Visual & Critical Studies fourth-year students, in conjunction with their open studios event. This year, the program is shuffling the agenda with two consecutive shows.

The first installation will pair Juliet Nelson and Naomi Treistman in real space and with Jay Park’s work on the monitor. Plants, roots and rhizome in form and content, as material, as method and as metaphor for the tangle.
