Talk
i3 Photo Lecture: Gretchen Grace

MPS Digital Photography presents a talk with photographer, artist and designer Gretchen Grace. For the last 30 years Grace has been photographing on the street, mostly in New York City, but also on streets around the world. Grace’s work is primarily lens-based, still and video, real and abstract. She also paints, collages and experiments with typography. Her work has appeared in the Aint Bad, Broad, Daylight, Eyeshot, Japan Camera Hunter, New York Times, Noice, Smithsonian Magazine, Strant, Shots, and Women in Street, among others. She has a children’s book—for adults too—titled Messy Hair. You can find more of her work on Instagram @_gretchengrace_.
The i3: Images, Ideas, Inspiration lecture series has returned to in-person events. The series continues to feature leading photographers, artists, editors, gallerists and industry experts. This summer, Daylight books co-founder Michael Itkoff is the guest curator and host.
Registration is required; the event location will be given to all registrants.
