The Mask of Fashion is a series of photographs in which Agen Xin merges fashion and art, using dramatic masks to highlight clothing and create a sense of mystery. Each mask is created with different materials in order to symbolize different societal and historical themes. By shifting the focus from the wearer’s face to the artistry and intention behind each outfit, Xin hopes not just to explore issues of identity and self-expression but also to foster a deeper engagement with the narratives embedded in fashion.
