SVA Continuing Education presents a watercolor workshop with faculty member Andrew Chang. Watercolor painting is a beautiful addition to our life’s journey, a hobby that can make life more enjoyable no matter who you are. Whether you’re an artist, designer or medical doctor, you can pack a small watercolor kit as a companion on your next holiday. In this workshop, Chang will introduce the materials for watercolor painting and demonstrate a few simple techniques. You will have the opportunity to watch and/or follow along with a painting demonstration and learn how to problem-solve while working with water. A brief exhibition of student work will be shown and Chang will discuss his views on the power of creativity—including how watercolor painting can be a rewarding and healing activity to incorporate into our lives.

This session does not require any materials, but you may try them out during or after the session if you wish.
