The Visible Futures Lab is pleased to announce the opening reception for John Hartmann, architect and artist. John will be discussing his work at the lab and exhibit new pieces. Refreshments will be served.

John Hartmann is a partner at Freecell Architecture. He earned a degree from the Cooper Union and was awarded the Rome Prize and a MacDowell Residency. He has taught studios at Parsons The New School for Design with Allan Wexler in the MFA program, in Interior Design and a drawing course at the Cooper Union with Michael Webb. In 2015 he was invited by Wang Shu to lead a 4-week workshop in Hangzhou at the China Academy of Art.
