MA Curatorial Practice presents a premiere exhibition of Iranian, New York-based artist Shahrzad Changalvaei’s latest installation. Best known for her work concerning Persian typography, the installation investigates the emotional aspect of language through a dense array of randomly hung sculptural elements—some figurative, some abstract—made from paper, paint, clay and gold dust, accompanied by a video that narrates a love story. Curated by Mohammad Golabi, a second year curatorial fellow in the MA Curatorial Practice program.
