BFA Visual and Critical Studies presents “Mary Frank: Works on Paper” an exhibition of drawings by Mary Frank curated by Thomas Donahue and Vanessa Hoheb, the exhibition will be on view from Monday, March 23, through Sunday, April 19, in the SVA Flatiron Project Space, 133 West 21 Street, New York, NY. A reception will be held on Thursday, March 26, 6:00 – 8:00pm.

Only rarely does an artist achieve such deep connection with their subject through the simple elegance of a masterfully drawn line. Whether with the steel nib precision of pen and ink or the fluidity of a charged sumi brush, Mary Frank at 93 continues to engage her world with curiosity and enthusiasm.

  • The Flatiron Project Space, founded and run by BFA Visual & Critical Studies, is located on the ground floor of 133 West 21 Street. The gallery invites students, faculty, and industry experts to collaborate on exhibitions and other projects that highlight our rapidly expanding visual culture. Shows are held monthly and include video, performance, painting and sculptural projects.

The gallery is open Monday through Sunday, 9 AM to 6 PM. It is fully accessible by wheelchair.
