Informed by an interest in language, literature and history, Mary Reid Kelley collaborates with her husband, artist Patrick Kelley, on works that combine video, poetry, animation, performance and painting. They have been shown in New York, Los Angeles and London and reviewed in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The New Yorker, Artforum, Flash Art, Frieze and Art in America. In 2015 The Hammer Museum in Los Angeles will present the Kelleys' complete trilogy of films on the theme of the Minotaur. Presented by MA Curatorial Practice.
