Before We Begin, Again

Tempus Viatores is a two-minutes-and-half 3D animated short film. Instead of being a traditional narrative, this short film aims to create a mythical atmosphere that expects to bring the audience peaceful joy.

The central idea of this project is that time, rather than being an abstract concept, flows through and is preserved by all kinds of beings. It seems to be invisible but it is in everything we sense. My focus on this project would be garment construction, there will be over 10 sets of clothes to help accentuate the mythical vibe.

This film is mainly inspired by Taoism philosophy. The character and garment designs are influenced by traditional Chinese artworks and cultural relics. Besides the peaceful joy, I hope the audience can appreciate the subtle beauty and get inspired.
