The creative work encompasses a wide range of media, including immersive installation, animation, design, and interactivity. ”Art and technology have always been fantastic partners in creativity, and our latest student works offer some great examples of that intersection,” states department chair Terrence Masson.
Exhibiting artists include Ronnie Ahlborn, Hyeonghoo Cho, Maya Khalil, Alexia Hartogensis, Zachary Dresher, and more.
The MFA Computer Arts Studio is shared among students interested in building interactive, multidisciplinary, and installation art projects. The space also includes a workshop/classroom for students to construct their work.
School of Visual Arts MFA Computer Arts emphasizes creative experimentation and a multidisciplinary approach to making art with computers and emerging technologies. Dedicated to producing digital artists of the highest caliber, the department guides each student in the development of a personal artistic style in a course of study that is individually tailored to meet their needs.
