Are you ready to use design to drive social change? MFA Design for Social Innovation presents an open house with department Chair Miya Osaki. Meet students, faculty, and alumni while exploring the studio space and student work.


At the MFA Design for Social Innovation Open House: 

  • Learn about the cross-disciplinary, collaborative, and hands-on graduate program and understand how social design supports a healthier, equitable, and caring future.
  • See the student project gallery, which includes projects with communities, real-world partners, and organizations.
  • Hear more about the career pathways of alumni and how they are making a difference in the world.
  • Connect with Chair Miya Osaki and meet the amazing students, faculty, and alumni.


Applying for fall 2026? Attendees will receive an $80 application fee waiver if they apply for fall 2026 admission.
