Deeya uses her art practice to gain a deeper understanding of existence. Through the basal and minimal act of stippling, her current works help experientially explore the granular and myopic level where time ceases to exist. Absent of a definite objective, these paintings are ever - expanding in nature; both in visual scope as well as the time they demand in their poignant attempt to reach an elusive ‘completion’.
