Simon Cooper is a New York based artist with concentration in painting and drawing. His work exists within the lines of both abstraction and figuration, and takes inspiration from Medieval and Renaissance Europe, Cubism, and Abstract Expressionism. His most recent work focuses on “celebration” in the form of feasts, Bacchanals, and merrymaking. Cooper earned his B.F.A. in Illustration and Printmaking from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2014 .
