Selections from Thesis Projects

This is a visual project based on the theme “control”, which to me is the zeitgeist for the past decade worldwide. “Control” comes in all sorts of forms, ranging from physical control to mental manipulation, you name it. What is interesting and ironic is that, as human beings, we seek after freedom, yet often willingly step into the state of control just because it feels safer to be restricted in a small, familiar space, being it physical or mental. This project aims to reflect on this contradiction rooted in humanity.
