My thesis film focuses on cinematic lighting and shading; it is slow-paced, moody, and composited with designed camera shots and atmosphere. I play around with various lighting and vintage antique pieces in the final render. When an old artist finishes a sculpture of his deceased wife, he has a reunion with her in a dream. My main characters are two anthropomorphized rabbits with a hand-painted style, while the background environment is detailed and rendered with realistic pipeline texture as well. The selected images I created are background stories of the film, but support the main timeline. They illustrate the relationship between the husband and wife, how they spent their time together in the studio, collections they had, and the imaginary world of the male rabbit after his wife is gone.
