Behind the picturesque facade of the tropical getaway Barbados hides a dark underbelly in which the people who reside on the island know all too well. At its core, this film picks apart the promise of paradise and opens a window to a new frame of mind by the end of the story. Narrated by the director who has been a resident of the island since birth, we will get a slice of what it is like to live in this “paradise.”
