Join MFA Visual Narrative for its annual Storyteller’s Series, a free lecture program held at the School of Visual Arts. Professionals are invited from across a vast range of creative disciplines to share how they’ve applied their visual narrative practice to the work they do. Past guests have included illustrators, VR specialists, experience designers, sound artists and more.

Based in Brooklyn, New York, Tod Lippy is the creator of the award-winning nonprofit arts publication Esopus (2003–2018) and executive director of The Esopus Foundation Ltd.; the editor and cofounder of Scenario: The Magazine of Screenwriting Art (1994–97); and the founder, designer, and coeditor of publicsfear magazine (1992–94). In 2024, he published Private, a book featuring a selection of his photographs of the off-limits areas of commercial art galleries.

Tod's talk for MFA Visual Narrative's Storyteller Series, in collaboration with SVA Library, coincides with "The Publicsfear Archive" exhibition at Printed Matter open this summer.
