Screening

BFA Animation presents The Undies, a three-hour screening event showcasing finished films created during the previous year by underclass students. As per tradition, the first-year class is invited to participate on the judging panel for the 2022 Undies Awards and all audience members will have a chance to vote on the winner of the 2022 Undies Audience Choice Award.

Films will be screened, awards will be won and fun will be had!

The Undies is a platform of recognition and exposure to celebrate the creativity and artistry of animation. Prizes will be given in a total of six categories, including Best In Show, Best Animation, Best Production Design, Best Soundtrack, Best Story and “Dirty Undies” distinctions. Awards will be juried by ballot during the event exclusively by attending SVA BFA Animation first-year students.
