The offices of Academic Affairs and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the School of Visual Arts are excited to announce that the College has again secured a place for SVA students, faculty, alumni and staff to walk in this annual event, which will be held in support of LGBTQIA+ rights and in communal celebration on Sunday, June 25. Join us in uplifting each other to further the affirmational and inclusive campus that we are working together to build. Together, we will protest and demonstrate against the recent spread of anti-LGBTQIA+ and anti-trans legislation currently moving through U.S. state houses.

This year’s NYC Pride March theme is “Strength in Solidarity,” and SVA Alumni Affairs is graciously providing custom-printed crayon boxes to hand out as we march to show our support for queer and trans youth.

If you are an SVA student, alumnus, staffer or faculty member who would like to join us at the 2023 NYC Pride March on Sunday, June 25, look for an invitation to sign up in your email or via the SVA Today or Alumni Affairs e-newsletters, or email for a link to the Google form.

Let’s raise our voices, rise up and thrive!
