Orientation at SVA offers students the opportunity to meet faculty, staff and other students before classes begin. Through resources like the Orientation Blog and a variety of events during Welcome Week, Orientation also helps acclimate new students to the SVA campus, community, and NYC.

Join us for a unique virtual student meet-up - LinkUP in GatherTown!
This gamified experience will help you meet fellow SVA students and check out the SVA Concourse, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 2pmET. You can also email StudentAffairs@sva.edu for information.
