Orientation at SVA offers students the opportunity to meet faculty, staff and other students before classes begin. Through resources like the Orientation Blog and a variety of events during Welcome Week, Orientation also helps acclimate new students to the SVA campus, community, and NYC.

    Students who missed the International Student Welcome, hosted by the International Student Office (ISO) and required for all F-1 and J-1 students, should contact ISO as soon as possible.

  • FALL 2026 Orientation information will be available in July 2026. Welcome Week events are expected to take place Sunday, August 30 - Friday, September 4.
