Statement of Purpose
In 700 words or fewer, help the ixD program understand how you think and what motivates your design practice. We're not looking for a chronological biography, but rather a window into your values, questions, and future vision. Please respond to the prompts below:
- Tell us about someone who influences how you think and work. This could be a designer, mentor, neighbor, or public figure, someone whose ideas, actions, or perspective have shaped your own. What about them resonates with you, and how does their influence show up i your creative process?
- Project yourself 20 years into the future. What kinds of systems, communities, or experiences are you designing? How are you living? How has the field of interaction design evolved, and how have you evolved with it? Speculate on how the ixD program will shape you and the future!
- If you would like to be considered for a merit-based scholarship, please include a short note at the end of your statement (this does not count toward your word limit).
* Please submit this as a PDF document.
* 750 words maximum.
We value personal voice and storytelling, so please submit original work with citations, including mentioning if you use AI generative software.
