Director: Melodie Rosen

(SocDoc Thesis Grant; SVA Alumni Award)

RIP Chip investigates the emotional bond kids form with their pets and how parents respond to help kids cope with pet loss. From the traumatic loss of my childhood guinea pig in an apartment painting accident to the frequent animal casualties of farm life, kids and parents across New York reflect on the lessons learned when confronting some of their greatest and earliest hardships.
