Undocumented immigrant David Avendano has been pursuing his dream to become a piano craftsman since he was a teenager. Twenty-four years ago, he left his mother in Mexico to follow his father to America, then invested his entire life in building a family-run piano restoration factory in Yonkers with the hope that this place could bring his family together. That dream has now been hindered by a financial crisis, forcing him to confront the possibility of family separation yet again.
