The Gramercy Women’s Residence
The Gramercy Women’s Residence is located on the south side of beautiful and historic Gramercy Park just a few blocks from SVA’s buildings on East 23rd and 21st streets. Gramercy provides female residents with a safe, comfortable living environment. The Gramercy Residence Hall is comprised of fully furnished, studio and two-bedroom apartments. The average bedroom size is 11 x 17′, however, this varies depending on the apartment layout. During the academic year, the Gramercy Residence is reserved for upper-class returning residents.
**For the coming 2023-2024 academic year, the SVA Gramercy Women's Residence will be closed/offline for occupancy and room selection due to a required and time-sensitive maintenance upgrade project. The Gramercy residence will be reintegrated into the room selection process for the 2024-2025 academic year cycle. **
Apartment Amenities
The Gramercy Residence Hall is a beautiful pre-war building, built in 1938. Although the apartments have been renovated to have modern conveniences, they still boast that pre-war charm with parquet floors and crown molding.
