Expenses Made Easier
How to Pay Your Tuition and Related Fees

Student Accounts payment methods are to be utilized for enrolled students paying their tuition and related fees. All payments received will only be applied toward tuition and fees. No personal payments meant for a student’s spending money or living expenses should be sent to SVA. Overpayments will be applied to future semesters, not issued as refunds. Any such personal payments meant for living expenses are between the payer and the student and should be paid directly to the student, not paid to the school with the intention of a refund issued to the student.

Any credits resulting from financial aid or billing adjustments will be refunded.

Incoming students must pay their enrollment fee through the Office of Admissions.

Payment Methods

  • It’s easy to get started.

Students can access their TouchNet Payment Portal through their myID account. This portal allows students to view their billing statements, submit secure payments online, initiate wire transfers and add authorized payers.

Incoming students must pay their enrollment fee through the Office of Admissions, not via this online payment site.

Please note: Once registered, students will be able to view their balance due and billing statements on their TouchNet Payment Portal. If billing is not yet available, students can still access their on-demand statements and make payments.

Fall billing will be available by mid-June, Spring billing by early-November and Summer billing by mid-April.

Credit and debit cards: Credit cards accepted include American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard. Credit and debit card payments can only be made online using TouchNet PayPath and include a service fee of 2.95% charged by TouchNet to process all credit/debit card payments. The service fee of 2.95% is based on the total payment amount ($3.00 minimum). The service fee is added to your payment and will appear as a separate item on your credit/debit card statement. The service fee is not refundable, even if the payment to which it relates is cancelled, refunded, credited or charged back. The service fee offsets the credit card transaction fees charged by the credit card companies. SVA does not receive the proceeds from this service fee.

The PayPath service fee rate for International PayPath transactions is 4.25%.

Alternatively, you can choose to make international wire payments by visiting sva.edu/wirepay.

To avoid incurring the service fee, you can make payment by electronic check with US bank routing numbers.

Important Information

  • SVA requires that the enrollment fee and all tuition and fees be paid in full in order to complete registration and enrollment. The housing deposit must be paid in full in order to reside in SVA housing. Attendance in classes or residing in SVA housing without payment or without making approved arrangements for payment will result in involuntary withdrawal from SVA for non-payment. You will be held responsible for all costs and fees incurred through the date of withdrawal for non-payment.

  • If you are a parent/guardian assisting a student with their SVA account, please note that you will not have access to any financial or academic information unless the student has granted you permission on their Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) disclosure form.
