SVA Alumni Affinity Associations
Alumni affinity associations encourage alumni to deepen their affiliation with SVA. Our associations create a strong sense of community and connection among graduates who share common professional interests, identities, or geographic locations and contribute to the overall vibrancy and vitality of the alumni community.
Affinity associations are volunteer-driven and staff-supported. Alumni leadership of each group is responsible for spearheading communications, setting goals, and planning activities each year. SVA Alumni Affairs and Development provides active groups with some organizational and monetary support.
Though affinity associations serve a specific population, all SVA alumni are invited to participate in any alumni affinity association and programming.

Chinese Alumni Association (CAA)
The Chinese Alumni Association (CAA) seeks to create a lifelong bond among each other and SVA by building an international network of Chinese alumni and providing opportunities for professional development, networking, and communication.

The Queer Alumni Association (QAA) is a meeting platform for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as their allies.
