Fine artist

Life painting is about intense observation. This course is designed for students at all levels who are looking to improve their knowledge of color theory, flesh tone, highlights, drop shadows, edge quality, and composition. Weekly sessions consist of live demonstrations with models as well as individual and group critique. Students can expect to see measurable improvement in their observational and rendering abilities. While oil paint will be the primary medium, students are welcome to work in the painting medium of their choice.
NOTE: A supply list will be provided to registered students prior to the start of the course. This course is held on campus at SVA.
