Stained glass is the method through which cold, glass sheet pieces are attached into a mosaic form using copper foil and solder. Participants in this course will create a stained glass piece, designed to their specific vision, which is grounded in jewelry making, sculpture, or another form. Enamel painting will also be introduced. A look at some of the contemporary artists who are implementing these techniques in new ways is included. No previous experience with glass is required.

Note: The studio fee includes all tools and materials (glass, copper foil, solder, flux, and enamel). This course is held on campus at SVA.
